Hi
I was wondering is there a way on Cytoscape to create edges that have dashes which correspond to an attribute

Image result for haplotype network

kind of like this- where the edge 5-2 has an attribute of 2 and therefore 2 dashes
also is this possible in Rcy3

Thanks and best wishes

I haven't seen that line type.  For the set of different line types see here: http://manual.cytoscape.org/en/stable/Styles.html#available-shapes-and-line-styles

If you want to map that sort of attribute you can instead map the number to the thickness of the edge with a continuous mapper mapping to the attribute.

This sort of mapping is also available through RCy3.  (see - https://rdrr.io/bioc/RCy3/man/setEdgeLineWidthMapping.html )

Thanks,
Ruth
