App store auto-install not working?

Dear Cytoscape Team,

It looks like there were some issues related to the app store earlier this month...but I didn't see this one.

 I am able to search the app store with Cytoscape 3.10.4. but instead of offering an app to be automatically installed, the app store is showing the older download/install option (download the .jar file, use "Install App from File" option). Is this now the route to install new apps? Or is there something still slightly wonky going on?

Hi Nick, 

Do you have Cytoscape open?  I think that if Cytoscape is not open then it defaults to the download option but if Cytoscape is open it should give you the install option.

Hi Ruth, yes, I had Cytoscape open. It turns out I switched browsers to Firefox and there was an alert I was ignoring to allow apps.cytoscape.org to access other apps and services on my device. I had to both "Allow" but also "Remember my choice" to get the "Install" button to appear on the app store page. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Nick
