GSoC 2026 Contributor – VCell-AI Project Interest & Introduction

Hello everyone,

My name is Asmitha, and I am a Data Science student from India. I am very interested in contributing to the VCell-AI project as part of GSoC 2026.

I have started exploring the codebase and have already made a few contributions, including:
- Fixing backend configuration issues related to environment variables
- Improving the frontend landing page UI/UX

I am currently working on understanding the system architecture, especially the knowledge base and model exploration components.

I would love some guidance on the following:

1. Which areas of the project would benefit most from new contributors at this stage?
2. Are there any specific issues or features that I should focus on before finalizing my proposal?
3. Any recommendations to better align my proposal with project expectations?

I am really excited about contributing to this project and would greatly appreciate your feedback.
