Hi, I am getting occasional curves on my edges.  I want my network edges straight. How can I remove these curves?

In the top menu: Layout > Clear All Edge Bends.

You can also control these from the Style Panel > Edge tab > add property: Bend.

After doing these, curves are still there. I have saved my network as .cys and when I open this again in Cytoscape, it is showing curves. Curves were not there previously. Do you have any idea?

Thanks

Looks to me like you have a number of edges that are colored "white".  If two edges connect the same two nodes, one will be curved to avoid them being on top of each other.  I suspect that's what's going on.

I am having this same issue. Is there a way to turn off the feature of having bent edges if there are multiple connections between two nodes?

The only way I can see of getting around it is to bundle edges.

Sure. You can remove redundant edges.

Edit > Remove Duplicate Edge…

If you “ignore edge direction” then it will remove all cases of extra bent edges between nodes.

Ha, thanks! Someone else just found this for me!

Edit > Remove Duplicate Edge…

Also, checking the "Create an edge table column with number of duplicated edges" will help preserve the edge number

Thanks again!
