The file imports without any problems: without quotes and no special settings.

Are you using Cytoscape 3.7.1?
Are you using the right importer: File > Import > Network from file… ?

It should look like the attached screenshot. Then you just click OK.

However once the file is imported in Cytoscape, the shared name and name column now listed the proteins as "rad1" or "rad51" i.e. adds quotation marks. I made sure to only select the comma delimited option on advanced options while importing too but it still adds the quotation marks not just to the table but also the network graph.

Can anyone please help to sort this?
