Hi.

My question is concerning Cytoscape website access.

Since about a week I'm experiencing complete lacking of access to the Cytoscape website www.cytoscape.org.

My browser give me a error 302. The same error is present either on Windows as well as Mac computers and using Safari, IE6 or Firefox.

Strangely, at home or outside my university (University of Verona) access to the Cytoscape website is OK!

I asked to the administrator of the local university network and they said that everything looks OK here and, apparently, it looks like as the Cytoscape web site is blocking the access form our university: that is from www. univr.it.

I include a screenshot of the error message I get.

Any idea?

Can somebody help?

Thank you very much indeed in advance for the help.

Best

Carlo

Hi Carlo,

I'll check with our hosting provider if they are blocking access for your university.

thanks,
Mike

It seems to me your computer is affected with a virus, whcih always redirects your cytoscape.org request to somewhere the virus directs to.

I think this is unlikely as many other computers in the University (and all computers in my department) are affected by the same problem.

Hi Mike!

My connection to www.cytoscape.org is back now. Great!

Was the problem solved by your administrators?
