Analysis of weighted networks

Hi,

I am trying to analyze a weighted network I have created in Cytoscape.

I created a network by importing a network from file which is in the following format:
NodeA, NodeB, Edge Weight
I select source and target nodes and set my edge weight column to an edge attribute.

What I have observed is that the output of Network analyzer is the same whether or not I have assigned edge weights to the network. I know that some parameters should be changing, how can I fix this?
