I have been working with a network file for several days.

today I was working with the grouping feature and now when I try to save the file I get a dialog box that says:

"Writing Session File"   (do no enter sign)  "Table does not exist:  HIDDEN"

I can close the dialog box but I'm not sure if the file is save and therefore I do not want to close the file.

Is there an export I can do to save the raw data and reload the network ?

A note on the groups ... I tried to delete all the groups because they did not seem to be reacting to the node locations like they did previously.  But I can't delete all of the groups.  Some of them have turned into nodes with the cyctoscape logo that retain their name and column attributes but I can't seem to delete and they are not linked to any nodes as far as I can tell.

Yikes. Sounds like things are in a bad state, indeed. You can export the networks and tables via File>Export to make sure you don't lose the fundamental content.  I would recommend trying to start fresh.

I have no idea what happened to your groups. If you can create a new group and then demonstrate how it breaks or can't be deleted, sharing example files would help. These operations work normally otherwise, so we can't test without broken examples.
