CytoCluster 'Find Cluster(s) from Selection'

Hi,

     I'm new to CytoScape.  We're using it on a project looking at the relationship between chronic disease and socio-economic status here at Northwestern.  When I try to use CytoCluster's find cluster option, and select 'From Selection', it finds the clusters in the entire network.  I've got a subset selected, and I'm trying to apply cytocluster to that subset.

Two things to do here:

1) This sounds like a bug, so you should probably report it to the CytoCluster creators. The app page at http://apps.cytoscape.org/apps/cytocluster lists the maintainers' email addresses under the Contact Information section.

2) You could try creating a new network from the selected nodes and edges (File->New->Network->From selected nodes, selected edges), and run CytoCluster on that network.
