no attributename in the attribute batch editor

there is no attributename in the pulldown list of 'attribute batch
editor ' when I want to change the colour of the selected nodes.What's
the reason?

Do you have any attributes when you click 'select attributes' in the
'node attribute browser'? Also, a bit more info regarding the version
of cytoscape / operating system etc is usually handy when you post
here.
