Hi I am wondering if there is a way of adding a list of the adjacent nodes for each node to the node table prior to exporting?

Many thanks,
Richard

If i understand you correctly, you could just do a "Select->Nodes->First neighbors of selected nodes->Undirected and that would select the adjacent nodes for all currently selected nodes.

Thanks Scooter, but If I wanted to then export this information how would I do this? To clarify, for each node in the network, I would like to obtain a table for the whole network with each row containing a node in one column and all of its adjacent neighbors in another column.

Best,
Richard

Hi Richard,

There isn't an easy way to do that, unfortunately.  What you would need to do is to export the network edge table, then split the shared name to get the source and target for each edge and do some python or R scripting to get the table you want.  Alternatively, you can do it directly from R or Python and pull the network data using CyREST.
