The NNF Center for Protein Research at the University of Copenhagen and RBVI at UCSF are pleased to announce an update to the StringApp with some exciting new features.
stringApp 1.4 now supports queries for proteins involved in virus-host interactions from the Viruses.STRING database. A detailed tutorial is available here.
In addition to some improvements and bug fixes of enrichment and commands, other new features include:
- Global stringApp settings
- Enabling or disabling the glass ball effect
- Automatically loading enrichment data
- New commands for querying additional nodes and changing confidence
- JSON return for all commands
