Hi,

I ran ClueGO with the option of GO term fusion enabled. Despite this I see exactly identical terms in the result table having GO-biological process as a source (see example below).

GOID GOTerm Ontology Source Term PValue Term PValue Corrected with Bonferroni step down Group PValue Group PValue Corrected with Bonferroni step down GOLevels GOGroups % Associated Genes Nr. Genes Associated Genes Found
GO:0042730 fibrinolysis GO_BiologicalProcess-EBI-UniProt-GOA_27.02.2019_00h00 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00 [4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] Group4 14.29 5.00 [F2, FGA, FGB, FGG, SERPING1]
GO:0042730 fibrinolysis GO_BiologicalProcess-EBI-UniProt-GOA_27.02.2019_00h00 0.00 0.00 0.00 0.00 [4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9] Group5 14.29 5.00 [F2, FGA, FGB, FGG, SERPING1]

It looks like the GO groups are different, but everything else remains the same. Is there any other way I can keep only the unique GO terms in my result? Thanks!

Bernhard

Hi Niveda, yes this happens because this term is part of both GO groups 4 and 5 but you can export the node table via cyREST from Cytoscape directly to get the unique information.
