Dear All,

I would need a little help: Is there any possible way to get the value of the exponent when analyzing degree distribution and fitting power law? I want to know whether my networks are scale-free or not and what is the value of α. I know the manual way, but is there any way to automatize the process? I have attached a sample distribution data.

Hi Peter,

I have a high level idea about the degrees of nodes following power law distribution .
Can you please let me know how you would do it manually  and I can try automating it to see if a network is scale-free (or) not  and the value of α ?
