Hi,

I have 6 different matrices with the same animal behaviours in each. I would like to know how to compare them, and more generally how could I quantify their closeness ? Is there an app to do that ?

Thank you very much for your answer,

Youenn.

Hi  Youenn,

If you want to analyze the above matrices from a network point of view

- You need to decide what represents a node and what represents an edge.
- And then you could have the raw matrices as adjacency matrices and then use Amatreader (http://apps.cytoscape.org/apps/amatreader) to import the networks into Cytoscape.
- After that, you could run Network analyzer(http://apps.cytoscape.org/apps/networkanalyzer) (or) Centiscape(http://apps.cytoscape.org/apps/centiscape) to get a bunch of properties of each network and you could probably(https://www.researchgate.net/post/How_can_I_measure_similarity_between_two_networksuse them to quantify closeness for a given pair of networks which translates to the corresponding matrices.

If you want to analyze the matrices similarity/distance directly,

Thanks,
Srikanth.
