Cytoscape can't connect to the app store any longer

I had been using Cytoscape with no problems for a few years and then after not using it for a while I realised that I couldn't update or install apps.

I updated to the most recent version (3.6) and it still happens. The error says error while downloading app, server returned HTTP response code 500 for url: (apps store url)

I get the same code when trying to update apps.

Can anyone help here please?

Hi, Dont worry, I have the same problem here on my laptop and macbook, and a colleague had the same on her PC elsewhere. The Cytoscape server looks down for now. That is all I know.

I am having the same issue. Getting a 500 for URL error while trying to install any new apps. Hopefully they resolve this soon.

Sorry for the extended down time for the Cytoscape App Store. This occurred during a popular holiday weekend in the US and simply did not have enough redundancy in terms of infrastructure and support. Good news:  it’s back up now.  More good news: we will be upgrading the codebase and infrastructure before the end of the year, which should reduce incidents like this.
