Hi,

i followed the section 2 of online tutorial. but when I did "Under
Edit in the Cytoscape Desktop, select Delete Selected Nodes/Edges". the
panel 1 shows that edges [1080(0)]. before I did, it was [1080(663)].

and the graph showed that nothing was deleted.

in addition, I am not sure where "Filter " should be. I used the icon
on the right side of the "default" text box becz I cannot find any
"filter" on the cytoscape desktop.

hope anyone could help me.
thanks
ailing

Interesting. The data from Panel 1 implies that the edges were somehow
de-selected but not deleted: the number at the left is the total number
of nodes/edges, and the number in parentheses at the right is the number
selected. Many things can cause nodes or edges to be de-selected, such
as an accidental click on the background (I've done that thousands of
times myself!). Try it one more time...

Filters is the rightmost entry in the Cytoscape desktop menu, the one
which begins with File and then Edit. The rightmost button is an
equivalent way to bring up the Filters dialogs.

No problem. I'm thrilled that the tutorials are getting used!

Cheers,

Melissa
