Hi,
I can only make piechart for fe nodes but not to all nodes.
The nodes are painted only in one color.

I am using flexiable slice number coloring.
And the relevamnt attribute is a list of comma delimeted items. E.g.:
man,man,man,woman,woman,man
While loading the attributes file, I changed the type of the attribute to string list (comma delimeted).

I have 34 nodes (44 edges).
I can only get fe nodes in pie chart format in the following way:
select a node with left click.
plugins->multicolornode->relative multicolor node->selected nodes

I tried also to trick it and to select all nodes one by one (shift and left click) and than do the process above. But it does not work.
It only works for few nodes.

The nodes are painted only in one color.

Any idea what should I do?

Thank you

Hi Arik,

thank you for using MultiColoredNodes Plugin for Cytoscape.
In order to be able to help you with your specific issue, could you please send me your cys file and information on what shall be colored in which way?

Best regards,

Gregor

Also, please try the latest version of the plugin to be found at SourceForge:

Dear Gregor!
I have installed the new version: 2.5.31 and it works!
Thank you.
Apparently Cytosacpe plugin manager had a link to an older version 2.5.0 in which it did not work.

I have a question regarding the internal black colors:
In the figure I sent, the pie charts are made only of green and red slices. However it contains a lot of black colors: in stripes and especially in the middle of the big circles

Can I delete the black color? I want only my slices color.

Thank you,

Arik

Hi Arik,

if you had the frequencies for m/f, you could use the flexible slice width method of MCN plugin.
In case the frequency values are integers, please be aware that you have to define the attribute to be of Floating Point type.
If you cannot get frequency values easily, please let me know.

Best regards,

Gregor
