Is there a way to disable automatic "Check for Updates"?

Hi all,

Can I disable automatic "Check for Updates" on "App Manager" start-up?
I often restart Cytoscape, so this is a great help to me.

Not that I know of - does it take a long time on your system? It's not just checking for updates - each time you restart, it re-fetches the full list of apps (and their latest version) from the App Store.

Hi Tim,
Sorry for my late reply.

It does not take a long time, but in many cases there is no need to re-fetch the full list of apps.
So if it's not too much trouble, I would like to request this feature.
