Import Attributes of nodes programatically

Dear all,

I'm developing a small plugin for Cytoscape 2.8.2. I'm creating the network.

I wanted to ask, how can I import the attributes of the nodes programatically? So, that when I click on each node, I get its own attributes?

Can anyone suggest some tutorial?
