Cytoscape will be participating in Google Summer of Code 2023 as part of the National Resource for Network Biology (NRNB.org).

GSoC is a highly competitive and unique program - since 2005, 19,000 contributors from 133 countries have been accepted into the program. Since 2022, the program is open to all newcomers of open source that are 18 years and older, the program is no longer restricted to students.

A reminder that the contributor application period for GSOC is currently open until April 4, 18:00 UTC.

Who can apply?
  • You must be at least 18 years of age when you register
  • You must be eligible to work in the country you will reside in during the program.
  • You must be an open source beginner or a student.
  • You have not been accepted as a GSoC Contributor/Student more than once.
  • You must reside in a country that is not currently embargoed by the United States. See Program Rules for more information.
  • You must not already be affiliated with a mentor’s lab or team.
