Hello Everyone,

Just wondering how to arrange multiple loaded networks as a grid programmatically (for the purpose of introducing different modifications to a network and visualizing the different downstream effects simultaneously on a big screen, such as a vis-wall)

I hope my question makes sense.

Thanks,

Emre

Hi Emre,

Unfortunately that's a user feature only, with no API.
And I can't think of any workaround you could use.

Thanks,

Christian

Hi Emre,

While the network grid view is only supported by the GUI (like Christian said), I could image doing this is other ways.  Using R or Python, you could export images of multiple networks and then display them however you like. A single script could manage opening the networks, making the exports and composing the desired grid.  See the RCy3 or py4cytoscape packages to help with the Cytoscape steps.
