New release of group support plugins for Cytoscape 2.6.1

The UCSF RBVI is happy to announce the release of new versions of our three plugins: groupTool, namedSelection, and metaNodePlugin2 for providing group support in Cytoscape.  These release include a number of bug fixes and new features, including:

• The Groups panel provided by the namedSelection has been redesigned to significantly improve usability.
• Metanodes now appear in the Groups panel along with all of their children in a hierarchical tree.
• The groupTool provides a way to create groups based on common attributes.

All of these require Cytoscape 2.6.1.
