Dear all,
A case acute leukemia, Female; which was diagnosed as AML with t(8;21) and RUNX1::RUNX1T1 fusion detected. Patient undergo HSCT with male donor cells.
We recently received her post allo-HSCT relapsed bone marrow sample, karyotype showed two cells line 46,XX,t(8;21)([9]) and 47,XXY[21]

FISH X/Y, showed 3.7% of XY signals; approximately 40%, XXY signals, remaining recipient cells XX signals pattern.
No further information of male donor. Donor not keen for karyotype.

is that possible the 47,XXY is a new leukemic clone for this patients? or could be constitutional derived cell from donor?
How will you write the karyotype and FISH result, and interpretation of this finding.
Kindly comments.

thanks
