Any idea about THC hypotonic?

Hi everyone,

I just read about this so called THC hypotonic solution in the AGT manual (p40, Table 2.4) which contains "9 parts 0.075 M KCl, 1 part 0.25% Trypsin‐EDTA , 0.08 μg/mL Colcemid®". Seems it combines the mitotic arrest, cell detachment and hypotonic treatment into a single step, but there has no further detail regarding the usage or suitable cell type in this book.

Does anyone have experience using this formula, or have any paper/protocol related to it?
