We are using a digital unit from Thermo Fisher Scientific, item #50121515, which is very reliable and way easier than traditional fyrite. It is quite expensive, and it needs to be factory calibrated annually, which is also expensive, but it is worth every penny.

It needs to be done annually and the unit will remind you when it is due. If I remember correctly, a basic factory calibration costs about $300 and they complete it within 2 weeks.

I got the quote for this instrument but they haven't answered how much to recalibrate, can you please share that information?
Thank you
