     how to upgrade Cython 0.20 to Cython 0.25 in Ubuntu 14.04 ?? Please help...

I've been using virtualenv so far without issues. Once you activate the
virtualenv, you can simply "pip install cython". You can also manually
checkout the Cython source and compile it.

An alternative that I've also been using (but not for Cython
specifically) is environment modules. It has a slightly steeper
learning curve than virtualenv, but it's more general.

$ python -m pip install --user --upgrade cython

possibly you may need to add a "usercustomize.py" file
