Hi. I've just booked a family holiday to Cyprus in late July (not ideal for birding I know) staying on the coast a couple of km north of Paphos Headland. Like I said, it's a family holiday so I won't be spending hours birding, probably just a few forays on foot around the general area. I'm just wondering if I'm likely to see much? The area looks like it has some decent scrubland, and it looks like there's a fair bit of agricultural land within walking distance.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks

Craig.

Hi Craig

Adding to what June has just sent you - if you also check this link on the BirdLife Cyprus website you will find the sightings archive and can see what was around late last July. It will be hot!!

All the best

Thanks for the replies/mail. Might not be the best time to visit, but looks like there should be enough around to keep me happy.
