Polis Reed Beds

Can anyone tell me where to find Polis reed beds?
Have seen mention in various places, but don't know where the place is.
I have it pointed on a very large scale map, which doesn't help much.

Hi Ray,

 

From Polis at the junction of the road from Paphos and the road upto Latchi, take the road towards Latchi/Baths of Aphrodite.

After about 50 metres,and before you get to the bridge next to the 'Mystery Tavern', turn left down a narrow road. Follow this road over the stream (take care going over narrow bridge) and then turn immediately left down an un-made track.

Follow this track south for about 1 Km. you will then come to a small white building on your left where you can park (take care not to block track as agricultural vehicles regularly use this track).

 

The 'reedbed' stretches for about 1km south alongside the stream.

 

I have only visited here in Spring where you will find acro wblrs,cetti's,gt.reed,etc.

I suppose you may get moustached wblr if you're really lucky with a possibility of penduline tit & bluethroat.
