Bar in the East Village to view the returns of the 2008 Presidential
Elections. In what will prove to be a historic election regardless of
its outcome. Clemente and other participants have encouraged and
secured
the attendance of a number of prominent members of communities of
color
throughout New York. “In a year when there are an unprecedented
number
of women on the Presidential ballot as well as people of color, I
feel
it is important to offer a gathering place where New Yorkers can
gather
to watch these historic results,” said Clemente.
