If you are looking for racing opportunities beyond Shilshole and CYC. Hope it's okay that I posted this here as some sailors live in the North end or may be willing to travel to get time on different boats.

FALL SERIES RACES & PRACTICE PARTHIAN SHOT J 29 SAILBOAT
The Milltown Fall racing season is here and we have 2 spots open for new crew. This series happens on Saturdays out of the Port of Everett and is a great opportunity to develop your sailing skills and be part of a winning team. There are two parts, practice and the races themselves.

PRACTICE Saturdays at 2 pm
Sept 6, Sept 20, Oct 18 (runs about 3 hours). A casual sail where crew can work on their skills, try different positions/jobs on the boat and have fun! Great opportunity for free sailing lessons and to build your confidence. Optional but highly encouraged for new crew.

RACE DAYS
Sept 13, Sept 27, Oct 11, Oct 25 - race runs from 9 am and until early afternoon - Parthian Shot is J29 racing sailboat. As an “A” fleet boat we get to compete with the best of the Milltown racers. You can learn more about the events here: https://milltownsailing.org/Racing

BEFORE YOU RESPOND
1. Can you consistently be at the Port of Everett by 9 am on Race Days and 2 pm on Practice days for MOST of these dates (we all travel but we'd like to develop some consistent core crew)
2. Are you willing to learn skills and actively work on the boat (free sailing lessons but everyone works)
3. Do you have any experience sailing (helpful but attitude and willingness to participate and learn are most important).
