West Seattle sailor looking to get back into regular racing with the right crew. I have extensive Lake Michigan and Puget Sound experience across a range of boats and programs, including main, jib, and spinnaker trim.
Most interested in windward-leward buoy-racing or one-design program where I can settle into a trim/cockpit role and contribute over the season. Sailing resume below.

Position: Foredeck,Mast,Pit,Sewer,Grinder,Jib Trimmer,Main Trimmer
Current Position Interest: Main Trim, Jib Trim, Spinnaker Trim
Experience: Advanced-Intermediate
Comments: 5’11”, 45, 180 lbs. I have been racing since 2007, 14 race seasons. Club racing about twice per week on Lake Michigan out of Milwaukee. For my last boat, I crewed on a J/146 (foredeck), previous that a Beneteau First 40.7 (Main Trim, Crew Manager). Also have experience on Mumm-36, North American 40, Farr 395, J-130, J-35, J-30, Merit 25, Platu 25. Have done 5 Chicago-Mac races (2nd place overall Mac Cup 2013, Tartan 34C), 8 Queen’s Cups, 2 Chicago NOODS (Bene 40.7 & Farr 395), the Chicago Verve Cup (J-35), the 2011 T-10 NAC, 2013 Trans-Superior (Santa Cruz 40), and many local regattas. Locally did a number of Puget Sound events (Jedi, foredeck) and Swiftsure (Cassiopeia, trim).
I am strong, fit, able to trim all sails, and have own equipment. Learns well from better sailors and takes responsibility.
Since moving to Seattle, I spent several seasons racing aboard Jedi in weekend events around Puget Sound, primarily on foredeck. I also sailed Swiftsure aboard Cassiopeia, working main and spinnaker trim. After several seasons focused on mountain sports, I am returning to racing and looking to contribute in a back of the boat/trim role, ideally aboard a competitive buoy-racing or one-design program.
