We Love our boat in the Salish Sea, but once a year we like to go to warm water for some sailing and  snorkeling  Would you like to join us?  No sailing experience required but welcomed.  We have many years of sailing the pacific northwest in our own boat plus many others chartering in exotic places.

We are planning a bareboat charter (no cook, so all crew would pitch in for chores) to the Sea of Cortez, probably out of DreamYachtCharters in La Paz.   The boats we are currently looking at are monohull boats likely Oceanis 41.1 with three cabins or a Dufour 460 GL or Sun Odessey 449 both with four cabins.
Time frame would be  March 2026 (cheapest weeks seem to be 3/7-3/14 or 3/14-3/21/2026.  Approximate costs range between $1,900 and $2,200 per cabin depending on the boat and week. (1 or 2 people in each cabin).  There would also be an additional $200 per person approximately for provisions/food and water, etc.

Sharon and I have done some research on charter boats and itineraries in the Sea of Cortez and it looks like it will be a great trip with some wonderful sea life, beautiful snorkeling, hiking and sightseeing.

We need to make a deposit by end of August, so let us know if you have questions, are interested and which dates would work for you.
Then let's talk about some details of the trip.
