No Experience, Plenty of Initiative

Name’s Jesse. Jess, if you prefer fewer syllables. I have exactly zero sailing experience, unless you count years of standing on the shore wishing I were on the water. What I do have is an ability to listen, learn, and follow instructions well, plus ask a lot of (hopefully timely) questions.

I’ll show up with stubborn determination and tea-fueled enthusiasm, and I’ll keep at it until I get it right. I’m planning to take certification courses in keelboat, first aid, and anything else that helps me get ahead, but I’d like to start getting hands-on experience now.

If you’re open to teaching a beginner who’s serious about learning, I’m your person.
