Dear all,

I am trying to retrace the working principle of Cycamore's enrichment class and I've stumbled upon a question.

The way I understand it, the "feed_recipe" variable given in the input file is only used to build the initial feed (if present).
In addition to that, it is used for the feed requests, but the enrichment facility does accept other recipes as long as the input commodity is the same (and U235 has to be present, of course).
Is this behaviour (only checking input commodity and ignoring the input recipe) due to the DRE or is it specific of the enrichment class?

Regards,

Max

Hello Max,

This behavior is specific to this enrichment class.  One of the fundamental concepts enabled by the DRE is that each archetype can decide itself if/how to check the offers from suppliers and assign some preference to it.  We chose to not do any checks like this in this very simple instance of an enrichment facility.
