I was wrong about no Oxford junction rebuild ever having reduced motor traffic throughput - the Rose Hill junction that Patrick Lingwood discussed at yesterday's talk is a counter example! (The separate turning lanes on Rose Hill and Henley Ave were removed as part of the Quickways, to enable adequate width cycle lanes to be put in.) Can anyone think of any other examples?
