Cycloners:

There has been a few requests about creating sub-forums in another languages.

The first concern that comes to mind about having mult-language sub-forums is that the community as unit will be loosing  some cool development ideas in the other hand people around the globe is eager to build cyclones but they need help and  Cyclone as an OpenSource project must provide this kind of support.

I think we should find a middle ground that addresses not loosing knowledge and expanding knowledge.

My suggestion is that we need to create sub-forums in another languages but we need people acting as link between the English forum and the other language forum that commits to provide a report  biweekly or monthly about  what happened in their sub forums to the English sub forum and also bring back another report to their sub-forum about all the info in the English sub-forum.

..or is Google translate powerful enough to solve this problem?

Please Do comment what you think about it!

I understand that english is used as the main language in the mail list, english is most used everywhere, but we have to be realistic, not all the people know english...

In the otherhand, the problem can be to open one sub lists for every language interested in the cyclone project... altought in the reprap forums there are many sub forums in many languages. What we cant do, if the "thing" grows, is to maintain control and info in all the forums, it would be great to have some person as link as you said, but it can be a pain if the lists grow.

Anyway, i vote for a YES, to let open sub lists, and try to help people in other languages :D

I just start building a Portal Cyclone (I am in the first steps).

Meanwhile I understand english messages without any problem, I have problems writting and expressing (as you can see in this text).

So I vote YES too to a subforum in spanish. If we carry all the people of Clone Wars there would be a lot of movement.
