Hi guys,

greetings from Prague, Czech republic to all of you. Having some experience with 3D printers, I decided yesterday around noon to try Cyclone. I hope I will progress fast as I have dismountled recently Prusa I2 printer so I have nearly all the parts needed . The status from yesterday EOD is on the picture:

Probably I will bother with some elementary questions, but I promise to look into the discussion threads first :-).
Thanks to all of you who share your knowledge and experience!

Jiri

Hi guys,
some updates from my side.
After I put together the basic construction, I decided to replace all the self-tapping screws by M3 bolts and nuts and to reinforce the frame and Y-rod holders.  Too late I discovered the high-end Y-rod holders from yOPERO...it is a pity these are not shown as part of the set at Thingiverse. I have not yet implemented the Zprobe, but used a temporary microswitch instead. Current status of my machine is at the pictures. Firmware is in place and everything works according to expectations when controlled from Pronterface.I have not ordered the 300W chinese spindle yet to avoid the year-end post traffic jam, but it is planned. The temporary solution is shown.

Now I try to fight the host software and honestly, so far I am not very successfull with these Python scripts...
