I can't seem to get the code to upload.

"In file included from grbl.h:46:0,
                 from coolant_control.c:21:
defaults.h:94:41: fatal error: defaults/defaults_cyclone.h: No such file or directory"

I'm a arduino newbie. ideas?

Still no luck trying to load it that way.

I ended up loading the hex file for atmega328 using xloader. Does this have the same end result as using the Arduino IDE to program the firmware?

If you changed something in the firmware yes -> otherwise no

Actually, I think My firmware is Good. I used Putty to talk to the UNO. I can talk to the board, Firmware version comes up, and  I can check settings...

If I fire up bCNC or Universal Gcode sender: I can feel tension on the motors, the motor power supply draws about .8 Amps per motor. But If I try to move a motor, the current going to the motor goes to 0, nothing happens for a second then the current goes back up with tension on the stepper.

Does this sound like a familiar problem to anyone? I think I'm really close, there's got to be something silly that I'm overlooking

I got it working! I found a post from Damien Seed. I had the same problem, lowered feed rates, now it works!
