Date: Oct 11, 2007 1:30 AM
WOLVERINES SPORTS CLUB and Motive Force-Loose Spokes Save Sunday morning
as we ride from Rochester at 10 am along the PAINT CREEK TRAIL to
recognize and remember our friend Sue Rustoni. Bonnie Karas is telling
me it is Summer of Sue 7 (I thought it only 6) as we again host this
memorial ride in honor of Suzanne who was indeed the finest female racer
in Michigan just a few short years ago. Those of you who knew her will
remember affectionately her pervasive and infectious smile which she
sustained through even the most brutal of bicycle races. Suzanne was a
credit to our community in general as she dedicated her career to
educating and coaching kids and to the bike community as she was an
elegant and classy representative of our riding cohorts and to the
Wolverines. Sue rode frequently with the Motive Force riders and seemed
to never waiver on the bike. We miss her still. Please join us Sunday
morning for a leisurely ride along the Paint Creek Trail out to the Cider
Mill from the Park just west of Main in town. There will be a longer ride
available and of course the trail is a scenic course to Lake Orion and
back. Those riders and Wolverines who knew her should all attend to
share memories of Sue and those who did not should come and learn about
our sweet friend. A modest $5.00 donation which will go to a charity Sue
would have appreciated is requested. Please join us.
