Very important meeting, which date works best?

Hey everyone,

So exam week is finally here.  For most of us, that means we get a little R&R pretty soon, but before that, we have to have a very awesome super fun meeting.  The two days that I was thinking of was sometime on sunday or monday.  I was thinking monday at 5:30pm at the velodrome would be best, because then we could take a club picture with everyone and their jerseys with the track in the background.  We could also ride afterwards, the track opens full time this week.

The agenda:
- vote for new president and other positions
- take club picture (good to have for when trying to find new sponsors)
- pay/pick up jerseys if you have not already, I ordered a few extra this time so even if you didn't order one, we may have an extra in your size.
- organize a plan for distribution of club funds and fundraiser ideas for the summer
- and whatever anyone else wants to talk about.

Let me know if Monday at 5:30 at the velodrome is good for you.  I think the park is only checking for passes on the weekends now, but if not, you can park at my house and ride into the park.  If you want to do that, plan on being at my house at 5:15.

I am an OU alumni and on your distribution list.  I race for Paint Creek Bicycles in Lake Orion.   I saw someone from your team at Yankee Springs (Sweeet Jerseys) but I did not see anybody in the results with OU as a sponsor....   How did the team do?

I say lets have the meeting at noon on campus somewhere. Lots of
people have to work in the afternoon and the campus is located more in
the center for everyone to meet up. Also how did you plan on counting
votes for people who won't be able to attend the meeting? Melody for
one will be back out in Grand Rapids.

That's fine with me, I assumed most people would be working during the day, so I thought later would be better, but I guess not.  For people not there, we can do votes by phone, that's not a problem.

Does noon at OU on monday work for everyone?

Hey Byrce,

I think you race in my class in sport level right?  I won't be able to go the Fort Custer Race; I'll be home in Bad Axe.  What's your racing schedule look like for the year because I need someone to carpool with to the other far-away races.

Hi Paul

I would like to race Owasippee, hanson hills, and possibly brighton.  I am in expert class now.  I got 3rd at pontiac and 4th at yankee.  It is no problem wating for the sport class to finish.  I don't know if I will do any summer races because I am going toruing for most of the summer.  Although I ride 12-15 hours a day, I don't do any speed at all, and I really suck at races.  Plus, I won't be around for most of the summer races.  I would like to do bloomer this week, but I am riding up north to my parents cottage for some endurance training-200 miles in one day.  I would be happy to car pool to owasippee I don't know where it is yet.  I am also going to do some endurance races if anyone is willing to do a team race.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.  I didn't know if I was going to be in the area for the summer because of my grades, but I will be now so it's all good.

 

I would be willing to carpool with you to Owasippee, Hanson Hills, and Brighton if you plan on going there.  I'd be willing to do an endurance race too if we can get 2 or 3 other people together.  24 hrs. of Boyne is coming up so we prob. won't be able to do that but check funpromotions.com for other ones.
