Happy October Everyone! Well, after a wet September in the UK (how was it where you are?), mileage was down a little compared to the summer months and, as the evenings draw closer, it's time to put your final September miles onto the #12x100 sheet and welcome another new month in. Once again, Mental John Berry managed to top the 1,000 miles but only just this month, as he had to do an extra lap of the car park at the NEC's Cycle Show before he came inside to say hello to me with Toby Field (another intrepid #12x100 rider), on the Ahead Solutions stand where I was with my good friend Lee. As the Harvest Moon begins to wane, don't forget to get out on your bikes, and claim your miles whilst we still have some valuable daylight left! Then, of course, get your lights charged up and get out into the calmer, quieter roads of the dark evenings.... but make sure you stay safe! If any of you have got a story to tell about keeping up the #12x100 rides, please let me know as it would be great to put someone else's words onto the blog. Even if you're not sharing your story, keep on riding folks, and enjoy yourselves! I love you all, but not in that way :o) Phill x
