The Saturday Breakfast Ride will depart promptly at 8:00 AM from
Eastgate Lanes in Goshen. Scott Goldsmith will be the ride leader.

This weekend’s route is 39 miles over low traffic roads.

Plain Folks Cafe in Pleasant Plain is hosting us again for breakfast
and will be offering a buffet for fast service.

BRING CASH FOR BREAKFAST (PREFERABLY SINGLES). Plain Folks does take
credit cards but are not equipped to do it quickly. Bring cash so we
can pay quickly and not have to wait to pay.

We will depart in various speed groups with ride leaders and try to
stay together. I encourage everyone to print out and bring their own
cue sheet. This is a new route and there may be limited copies
available at ride start.

Attached is the official 39 mile route for this weekend. Print and
bring with you.

Eastgate Lanes is near Goshen, Rt. 28, 3.5 miles east of I-275 (Exit
57).

For a shorter ride and slower pace, watch for emails regarding a
possible shorter ride to the breakfast destination from the Goshen
Kroger. Here is the cue sheet for the 29 mile short version
alternative route from the Goshen Kroger http://ridewithgps.com/routes/979626

Unless you see a post, do not assume there will be anyone at the
Kroger to lead the shorter version.

I understand that that links to the routes are not accessible because the locations may have changed.

I forgot to announce that the route has freshly painted road markings so you should not need cue sheets.

However, Greg Dart --- if you read this. Please repost the links to the routes.

Please thank Greg Dart and Fred Ferguson for their time and work they put in both laying out and painting these new routes. Thanks guys!! My apologies to any I might have missed.

Jim is correct, the routes are freshly painted as white B's. Please follow freshly painted marks since there are a lot of faded marks out there for the old routes.

There are a number of alternate routes:

Main route. Right at Hill Station. 42.6 miles. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1130188

Left at hill station alt. 42.0 miles. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1062845

Goshen Kroger alt. 27.1 miles. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1110520

All marks on the Goshen Kroger route have a little red dot next to them. To stay on the shortest possible route starting from Goshen (27.1 miles), follow the white B's with a red dot. It will be obvious when you see them.

I have attached a picture of the main route in red and the alternate paths in green. I look forward to seeing everyone in the morning.

I will be leading the slower, shorter [27 mile] Breakfast Ride. The start is from the Kroger's lot
in Goshen on RT. 28 at 8 AM. The ride leader will go at the pace of the slowest rider, NO ONE LEFT
BEHIND! The new route is two miles shorter but has more climbing than the route to Blanchester.
