Hi All,

Message below from a very keen and excellent member of the university cycling club - Mr Adam Tasker - please read on.  Its in the name of charity so you had better!!!!

Also - if any of you get this message twice let me know and I'll amend the mailing lists (those of you with mysterious online nick-names are the trouble causers, but I'll let you off!)

Cheers,
CouncilTom

ADAMS MESSAGE

I am setting up a disability cycling club in the university that will enable all disabled people to cycle reducing the inequalities that many of the disabled people I work with face. I'm working with Bradford Council, the University of Bradford, British Cycling and Bradford Disability Sports and Leisure and things are looking very promising.

To do this I have to fund raise and have managed to secure a week long bag packing event at Morrison's at 5 Lane ends from Monday April 9 to Sunday April 15 and
I'm struggling to find enough volunteers for all 20 tills for each of the days.

Do you know anyone who may be interested in volunteering or who can help me get volunteers? I can offer all volunteers a free climbing session at Bradford University.

FURTHER INFO
Volunteers are required to help with a bag packing event at Morrison's, Five Lane Ends, Bradford from April 9th to April 15.

Funds raised will go towards Bradford Disability Sports and Leisure (http://www.bradforddisabilitysports.co.uk/). BDSL are working with Bradford University to bring disability cycling to Bradford (https://www.facebook.com/groups/cyclingforall/) and several staff and students from the university are cycling to Hamm in Germany and back in the summer to raise money. We are raising funds by doing other events and we are lucky enough to have been invited by Morrison's for an entire week and we hope to raise as much money as possible by packing bags on the tills and collecting at the entrances (https://www.facebook.com/events/355278291179743/).

If you can help with the bag pack in any way whatsoever, then please contact Adam Tasker on 07838164711 or oop...@hotmail.com. Expenses will be refunded and you will have a fun day doing something worthwhile.

People who volunteer their time will be offered a free indoor climbing session at the University of Bradford.

Thanks

Adam Tasker

Hey Judy

David here. Hopefully, by (slowly!) migrating to this email list we
can start to reduce these duplicates.

The list is a more open and democratic way for people across the
'community' to communicate. Anyone can join, anyone can post, and
there are options about how people receive their mail (every time or
in a daily digest), and it doesn't rely on the email of certain
individuals.

Unfortunately, old habits die hard, so if as many people as possible
can let people like Tom know that they are now on the list/google
group, then they can start to remove you from old, personal lists.

So well done for letting Tom know!

Cheers
David
