I'm not sure if anyone heard. Mike Dietzman, who for years lived in Ely and was not only a former road bike racer and elite nordic skier but also regular participant in bike rides in the "Virginia Group" and an all-around great guy, was hit in April by a motorist. I believe he was out for a ride with the local bike group where he and his wife, Deb Sussex (also elite biker and nordic skier), now live, Durango Colorado. He suffered some very serious injuries...Thanks, Joe, for passing this along.
