Subject: Cycling: Free conference on new speed limit advice

I am sure that you are aware of the latest Speed Limit Review Circular that has been issued by DfT. This reverses some of their previous guidance on speed limits and provides far more flexibility for local communities to implement speed limits that are right for residents, vulnerable road users, etc.

Robert Huxford of the Urban Design Group has put together this important mini-conference in order to maximise the understanding of the DfT proposals and enable practitioners and stakeholders to make informed submissions back to the DfT before the close of their consultation period on 5th February.

20's Plenty for Us is pleased to be contributing and you can also get feedback from other specialist presenters.

If you can attend then please do. If you can send this email on to other interested parties then please forward it. A pdf is attached.

Appropriate attendees could include :-

* Traffic Managers

* Transport Portfolio Holders

* Councillors
If attending then please ensure that you register at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JX6Y2KW
