Hi,
We are currently preparing to launch the Museum of the Environment (MOTE) in central Ipswich. The idea is to have the museum in an already successful venue (Arlingtons on Museum Street) to provide content to people who may not ordinarily visit a museum, let alone one to do with the environment.
To celebrate the launch we are holding a Climate Event on Saturday 3rd June between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm and were wondering if you would like to be involved with this by making a short presentation to the audience. The theme of the day is 'Do just one thing'. You may wish to speak on what individuals can do to help improve the environment and thus combat climate change in relation to active transport such as cycling.
We envisage a 30 min slot which can be divided as you wish but would suggest a 15 minute presentation followed by up to 15 minutes of questions.
A super-size TV screen is available so that your presentation can be interspersed with powerpoint slides or video. We would also invite you to set up a 'stall' for you to engage with attendees who may wish to obtain further information about your campaign, perhaps even providing some e-bikes for people to try.
I would be grateful if could you let me know as soon as possible whether you would like to be involved and please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like any further information.
Regards,
Peter
