For anyone who has been enjoying the reduced traffic on Hamilton Road in Felixstowe there is this consultation open to make it permanent.

Notification of proposal to make experimental change permanent
 
Please find attached the link to the next stage of engagement regarding Hamilton Road and the proposal for the changes made to the access during Summer 2020, to be made permanent. The changes were introduced to help with social distancing in the town centre, this has been favourably received hence this proposal to now make it permanent.
 
 
For further details of the Active Travel Fund activity across Suffolk our web site  contains more detail and background information.
 
New “Have your say” boards will be installed imminently at each end of the road and social media publicity will be undertaken next week to advise people of this proposal.
 
n.b. East Suffolk customer services included in this distribution, with a request that this email is forwarded to the refuse collection department.
