To All,
The following are for our individual and collective consideration vis-a-vis leveraging on available technologies & capacities in our various areas of expertise & comfort zones.
1) We really need to work towards digitising our heritage. Interestingly, Nigeria has been elected to the World Heritage body @ UNESCO & we must privately and especially through our ministries of Culture @ various levels leverage on this 2 year term to our nations advantage.
2) Also note that our nations 50th is around the corner, can we start to consider, and possibly plan, what we can individually or collectively put together that will commemorate this occasion. As SF would say, lets light candles instead of cursing the dark.
Brainstorming suggestions are welcome.

Osun Shrine, possibly even the Okija one too if we remove the political
excesses from the equation, the walls around Benin, Kano, Zaria &
so on, Arabic scripts from Uthman Dan Fodio in Sokoto, the NOK culture
in Plateau, the Igbo festivals, the Niger delta regatta's. Even the
struggles for independence, the coups, the tardy lessons from
corruption and so on are part of our history that make us who &
what we are.......
Every part of Nigeria has its own unique rich cultural heritage, tales, folk lore & hero's for us to be inspired by and learn from even the comeuppance of villains may hold lessons for us.
Lessons from those who have done right "in spite of what is wrong all around them."
Part of what we need to do is to define our National heritage so that it is not defined and limited for us.......
