NCC orders July 31 deadline for operators to connect internet exchange point
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has issued a July 31, 2009
deadline to all licensed operators to connect to the Nigeria Internet
Exchange Point (NIXP), a government-backed initiative to enable
internet service providers (ISPs) exchange traffic among themselves
locally and bring down the cost of offering service to the nation�s
online community.
